KAutodial is a pppd autodial monitor. When properly set up, KAutodial will:
display KPPP-like status messages as pppd autodials: "Looking for modem...", "Dialing...", etc.
place modem lights in the system tray on connect
allow users to disconnect on demand
display connection statistics
immediately show modem lights if a connection is already up when the program starts
